In May 2025 i purchased a Daikin Fit 4 ton AC through Mechcanical Air. It was using Inverter technology and the new R32 refrigerant that is more eco friendly an efficient than previous refigerants. I live in a community where many of the residents were using a Daikin Fit AC and a good number of them had issues in the first weeks of useage. I read that the new inverter technology was difficult to install and set up and special training was required. That did not stop me from buying it because I knew that Zack, a fantastic Tech working at Mechanical Air had my back if needed. I also was using Mechanical Air for seven years and find them very helpful and considerate. Guess what ... it took about five weeks and about six visits from Mechanical Air to get this AC working right. There was one major part in the inside unit that was defective which Daikin diagnostics could not pin point. After the part was replaced, Zach came to correct the refrigerant pressure and AC settings. My Daikin Fit AC now works great. My AC energy useage is lower by about 15 percent and I am very happy with my 12 year parts and labor waranty.
The Tech was very polite, detail-oriented and thorough. We had a few bumps over two years ago but for quite some time the service has been good thanks to the staff in the field.

Update June 10, 2026. - Had routine PM visit today. The tech was Daniel who has serviced our units before. He is not only knowledgeable, professional and friendly; but he is also careful and methodical in his approach. He checked system both inside and outside and carefully cleaned the condensate drain, and other usual checks. We would unconditionally recommend Daniel. We have now used Mechanical Air Conditioning for about 5 years and always found them responsive and knowledgeable; they are there should a need arise and they respond very quickly.
Update Dec 10 2025 - Had routine PM visit today (MA#3). A tech new to me named Max came. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He carefully checked the system and unlike many other PM techs went and directly checked system pressures at the inverter unit (all ok). He also did all the other usual checks. I would recommend Max. Again, a credit to the quality of service provided by Mechanical Airconditioning which I would strongly recommend.
Update 9-10-25 ... Had routine PM visit today. Jonathan provided excellent service and was careful and neat. He checked out system (eg temp differential, current, cleaned condensate line, rinsed compressor, checked inside coils, and reset thermostat reminders. He is a very nice individual with an interesting background and obviously well trained, friendly and knowledgeable. A credit to Mechanical AirConditioning which I would highly recommend
Update 6-5-25 .... Had a routine maintenance visit today. A new tech, Jonathan, provided the service. He was on time, seemed very thorough, checked out system, cleaned condensate line, etc. A very nice individual, friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable.

We have been very pleased with Mechanical Air (MA) for both their service and support and their advise.
About a year ago we replaced our HVAC system with a new Daikin system. We checked prices from 3 other vendor and MA was the best. They also took the time and effort to send out their service manager, Trevor Cutter, who was most responsive, visited our home and took the time to address our concerns and many questions. He also involved his engineers to assess the best sizing and also recommended unit configuration including dual UV lamps (all included in the price).
While we have had a few problems with the system at startup, MA addressed these promptly and effectively. Their service tech, NIck, is especially knowledgeable about the Daikin systems and is our "go to" guy for questions. Lakisha, the reception, in their offices is also most responsive, and always follows up.
Even on nights and weekends, they respond quickly often sending a service tech out within a couple of hours.
The excellent service, fast response rate, knowledgeable techs and most pleasant demeanor of office and field staff, and their obvious commitment to excellent customer service and support is most refreshing and why we really like MA
I can't say enough about how pleased we are with Mechanical Air! Saturday night we heard water dripping from our air conditioning unit. We called Mechanical Air expecting that they would say that they couldn't come until Monday. To my shock they said that they had someone in the area and that they could come by my house as soon as that job was finished. They were true to their word and someone came and worked on our unit late Saturday night. I couldn't believe it! That service rep worked until the job was done (around midnight!) and also educated us all along the way. We are so happy with this company and recommend that everyone take out a service contract with Mechanical Air.
